We took our long-awaited trip to Switzerland in September and had a great time, thanks to your Jungfrau guide and all of the related resources! Your material made everything so much easier, and we saw things that we’d never had known about but for your guide and the videos. We loved the whole week+ thanks to your detailed guide! Everything was covered very well, down to the train to catch at what time, good places to eat, money-saving tips, and even where to sit to get the best views on trains! You guys put so much great info. in the guide, I only had to read and follow! Thanks so much! Very much worth the price and highly recommended to anyone!
My boyfriend and I bought the Jungfrau and Zermatt guides for help planning our September 2026 two-week vacation in Switzerland. They were worth every penny. Not only did we have some ready-made adventures that we could customize as needed, the little details were included, such as what train tickets to buy and local spots to check out. We were able to prioritize what we wanted to do based on the guides, blog posts and our own research, and have some back-up plans for if the weather didn’t work in our favor or if we needed an easier day.
Our entire trip was powered by the Aplins and we are so grateful to their attention to detail, inside and outside of the itineraries, in making our vacation one to remember.
We discovered you on YouTube and were amazed at how detailed, reliable and useful your content is. The quality of your free advice made us sure your Jungfrau region guide would be well worth the cost. It saved us countless planning hours and inspired a fabulous time in the Swiss Alps. We stayed in both Wilderswill and Interlaken to explore the mountains and Lake Brienz. Highlights were getting above the clouds at Schilthorn on a rainy day, and visiting the Grand Hotel at Giessbach, where we ran into Jana ! It was a pleasure to tell you in person how much we appreciate Alpins in the Alps !
My wife and I completed a 16-day trip to the Jungfrau Region in August 2026. I became familiar with the Aplins back in 2021 as we began to dream of visiting Switzerland. I purchased this guide before it looked like the trip was possible, but as we began to do our research in anticipation of the trip, this guide became the go-to resource as we planned our itinerary. Of course we had been watching the YouTube videos, but the guide gave us the specifics we needed to plan where we would stay, which pass(es) to purchase and what places we would like to visit. It was the combination of their videos along with this guide and the Swiss Transportation guide that gave us what we needed. We felt sufficiently prepared going in and the guide was as helpful as they claim it is.
While we didn’t follow the Aplins’ day-itineraries specifically, those itineraries gave us plenty of good intel to plan each day. We referenced the guide for transportation to the location, nearby restaurants, trails (Swisstopo) and times. The best tips were to go early, dress in layers, watch the weather (MeteoSwiss) and don’t over-plan the day. We also found the hidden gems the Aplins recommended and those gems did not disappoint–Sulwald was absolutely fantastic. The breakfast buffet on the Shilthorn was memorable. Mürren was delightful. Männlichen was worth the effort.
We had the privilege of meeting Jana during our trip and we found her to be as kind, engaging and delightful in person as she appears in the YouTube videos. We also encountered a number of tourists who had also become familiar with the “Aplins in the Alps” various resources. We would highly recommend this guide to anyone planning a visit to the Jungfrau Region. It is well worth the cost!
We fully utilized your 1 week to Jungfrau itinerary down to the minute. We were constantly amaxed that we could make a lunch reservation in the middle of the day, halfway down the mountain, and walked up at the exact right time1. Also used all your free resources on passes and which to buy, which area to go, etc…made our trip so easy to navigate . We love the mountains, hiking and the great outdoors. All the tips for where to go, where to spend time and how long were so helpful. Best and most memorable family trip! We spent two weeks and plan to go back for more, someday1.
