I loved this guide! We used three of the day trip itineraries and due to weather and family interest we used two of the bonus trips as well. I never would have attempted any of these day trips without this guide, but the details from the guide gave me the confidence to do it. I love that they update them as well especially when train passes change. The embedded maps and paired YouTube videos fully prepared me to lead my family on this vacation. Get this guide if you are considering going to central Switzerland. We had so much fun following their advice!
We spent four days in Lucerne and found this travel guide to be a fantastic resource with much more depth of planning then Rick Steves book on Switzerland. Suggestions for places to visit including restaurants was excellent and enabled us to pre plan our vacation with ease. I would highly recommend purchasing this guide.
These presentations are exactly what I needed. I have already purchased the Half Fare Card and can now start choosing day trips.
I loved everything about it! I think all the details for the trains and other transportation were the icing on the cake for me. I would recommend this guide and all your videos to anyone traveling to Switzerland! You have helped me learn so much for the trip I am taking with my daughter in September. We only had time to follow one day’s itinerary, to Pilatus, but it was a perfect day! Having the timing all laid out for us was invaluable. Maybe someday we will get to try some of the other day trips!
